Brendan Welsh, Managing Partner, Sydney

Brendan founded ITNewcom in 1997. Since that time, ITNewcom has grown into a leading benchmarking and sourcing consultancy in the Asia Pacific region. Brendan has over 25 years experience in the ICT industry, and specialises in ICT sourcing, benchmarking, sourcing strategy and contract negotiations. Over the last 10 years, Brendan has worked on more than 50 major ICT programs in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the United States and Europe. Brendan has also played a lead role in establishing of a number of key industry initiatives within the Asia Pacific region. As Managing Partner, Brendan provides overall leadership to all of our practices and to maintaining our commitment to excellent client service.


Debbie McLaughlin, Partner, Canberra

Debbie joined ITNewcom in 1998 and became a partner in 2003. She has over 20 years experience in ICT sourcing and contracting, specialising in sourcing strategy and sourcing transactions. Debbie has worked in all aspects of ITNewcom's business across both private and public sector organisations, and is recognised for her extensive knowledge of the ICT market, technologies and trends. She provides specialist advice on complex structuring, process and transaction issues. As the Partner responsible for ITNewcom's research practice and the development of ITNewcom's sourcing methodology, Debbie is responsible for ensuring our clients and analysts have ready access to the latest market intelligence, sourcing tools and best practice


Stuart Gibson, Partner & Practice Manager, Canberra

Stuart joined ITNewcom in 2007, and became a partner in 2009. As ITNewcom's Canberra Practice Manager, Stuart has overall responsibility for the success of our Canberra based projects as well as management responsibility for ITNewcom's Canberra staff. Stuart has over 15 years experience in the ICT industry, with significant experience leading large scale programs with multi-disciplinary teams. He specialises in ICT strategy, governance, sourcing and program management. He also has extensive experience in commercial and service delivery management.


Brian Beveridge, Practice Manager, Melbourne

Brian joined ITNewcom in 2008. As ITNewcom's Melbourne Practice Manager, Brian has overall responsibility for the success of our Melbourne based projects. Brian has over 28 years experience in Defence Projects and in the ICT industry. Brian specialises in contracting strategies, multi-vendor governance regimes, strategic contract management strategies, problem project recovery strategies and IT sourcing. Brian is also highly recognised for his negotiation and dispute resolution skills.


Clive, Practice Manager, Sydney

As ITNewcom's Sydney Practice Manager, Clive has overall responsibility for the success of our Sydney based projects. Clive has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. He specialises in IT sourcing, contract negotiation and stakeholder management.


David Hayman, Practice Manager Benchmarking, Sydney

David joined ITNewcom in 2007. As the Practice Manager for ITNewcom's Benchmarking business, David has overall responsibility for the management and delivery of all our Benchmarking engagements. This includes Price, Cost, Customer Satisfaction and Value for Money Assessments. David has over 25 years experience in the ICT industry and has specialised in ICT benchmarking for the last 10 years, working on benchmarking engagements throughout the Australian, New Zealand and Asian regions. As practice manager, he manages a team of highly qualified benchmarking analysts working on benchmarks across various industries and geographical regions. David's focus is on identifying opportunities to assist organisations improve ICT value. This focus is driven by his extensive experience in evaluating the ICT performance and costs of organisations, and his deep knowledge of the ICT industry, technologies and cost drivers.


Nick Davies, Sales Director, Sydney

As Sales Director, with more than 20 years experience in the ICT market in Australia, New Zealand and UK/Europe, Nick has responsibility for developing ITNewcom's Benchmarking business throughout the region. With an extensive knowledge and background in corporate ICT benchmarking, Nick has an in-depth knowledge of the strategic and operational demands from both an in-sourced and outsourced perspective. Coupled with his strong performance management and balanced scorecard skills, he is able to identify opportunities for improving ICT value and achieving ongoing and continuous improvement across a wide range of industries and disciplines.


Theresa Lim, Marketing Director, Sydney

As Marketing Director, Theresa is responsible for all marketing activities including our Annual ICT Market Practices & Trends Study, and http://www.itnewcom.com/. Her 15 years commercial and marketing experience includes her time with ITNewcom in 2001 as an advisor before she left to obtain her MBA full-time at the Australian Graduate School of Management. Prior to joining us as Marketing Director, she headed up Off-net Content at Vodafone, and more recently, was co-owner of a VoIP applications startup. She has also worked and consulted in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Silicon Valley.
